Who we are
healthforbusiness is a trading style of Go Live Data Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 12578055. Registered office: 47 Newton Street, Manchester, M1 1FT.
We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office, registration number [ICO NUMBER].
What we collect
We only collect what we need to introduce you to a specialist insurer. That means:
- Business contact details: your name, work email, work phone number and job title.
- Company details: company name, size, industry and location.
- Cover preferences: the type and level of cover you are interested in, and your rough budget if you choose to share it.
- Site usage data: only if you accept analytics cookies. See our cookie policy.
We never collect medical information about you or your employees. The insurer handles any medical underwriting separately, directly with you.
Why we collect it and our lawful basis
- Consent. When you submit a quote request, we pass your details to one specialist partner insurer so they can contact you with a tailored quote. We rely on your consent for this introduction.
- Legitimate interests. We use limited site analytics (only after you accept analytics cookies) and basic security logging to run the website safely.
- Legal obligation. We retain limited records to meet our regulatory and tax obligations.
Who we share it with
We pass your contact and cover details to a single partner insurer at the point you ask us to. The insurer is named on the form when you give consent. We do not sell your data and we never share it with marketing lists or panels of brokers.
With your consent to tracking cookies, we also use our own Go Track technology, supplied by Go Live Data Ltd, to identify the business a visitor works for from their IP address. Where the identified business is a good fit for our service we may contact that business about UK health insurance. Visitors who choose Essential only on the cookie banner are excluded from this. See our cookie policy for the full Tracking category description.
We use trusted processors to run the website, namely:
- Our website hosting provider, who stores the site itself.
- Our analytics provider, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Go Track, our own visitor identification platform, only if you accept tracking cookies.
- Our email and CRM tools, used purely to handle your enquiry.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for [RETENTION PERIOD] (typically 12 months) so we can answer follow-up questions and meet our regulatory record-keeping duties. After that we delete or anonymise the record.
International transfers
Where any of our processors are based outside the UK, we use the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent safeguards.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Ask us to delete your data, where we no longer need it.
- Restrict or object to how we use it.
- Request portability of data you provided.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.
